DESCRIPTION:Our Spring Fair is a highlight of the year for many families and is certainly fodder for delightful childhood memories. All are welcome to join us!\n  \nImportant Information:\n\nPlease bring cash\n\nTo make a cash donation of $15 per family\n To purchase sweet & savoury treats\n\n\nBring reusable water containers for the whole family\, especially if it is a hot day\nParking – please use the parking lot at the Upper Grand District School Board head office (500 Victoria Road North\, just south of Trillium). Parking at Trillium is only for those with accessibility needs.\nArrive early – give yourself time to park\, walk to the school and settle in before the Maypole dance begins at 11am sharp\nAccessibility needs – please drop off persons with accessibility needs in front of the school.\n\n If a person with accessibility needs cannot be dropped off\, there will be limited accessibility parking at the school.\n\n\n\nSpring Fair includes: \n\nMaypole Dance – begins at 11 am sharp\nMother Earth Garden\nWoodworking Craft\nChildren’s Market\nFlower Fairy\nPuppet Play\nFace Painting\nMake your own jump ropes\nDigging for Gems\nShop at Celebrating Sophia\, our school store\nand much more!\n\nAdmission by suggested cash donation of $15 per family \n

Parenting mentor Mary Willow (formerly a nurse\, midwife and Waldorf educator) introduces the dramatic difference between the ‘True Child’ and the child’s ‘Defence System’ – which she calls the ‘Guard Dog’ – in her new book: Breaking Through: How to Rescue Childhood and Heal the Parent-Child Relationship. \nThis new and dynamic framework for understanding your child’s behaviour and transforming family life covers early childhood through to the teenage years. Mary’s work is frequently described by parents as ‘life-changing’.
