Mike Craig
Mike Craig is a Trillium Waldorf Board Co-Chair. He has 3 children in the school in grades 4, 6 and 8. Mike taught outdoor and experiential education in the Halton District School Board for 17 years, and is now a property manager, Airbnb host and life coach in Guelph. Mike is on the Capital Campaign Working Group and will be serving as a connection between the Community Bond and Capital Campaign teams.
Alain Carriere
Alain Carriere is an environmental project manager with nearly 30 years of experience, the last 15 years at RWDI in Guelph. His two children attended Trillium Waldorf School and Alain served on the Board from 2008-2014. He is currently serving a second term on the Board in the role of Treasurer. He is working closely with the finance teams from Tapestry and Trillium.
George Ivanoff
George Ivanoff has worked for over 30 years conducting environmental assessments with 25 of those years as an environmental planner for transportation facilities. He is retired from that work but continues his activity with Quaker and Anthroposophical Organizations. He is presiding clerk of Yonge Street Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, a Board member of the Trillium Waldorf School, the Anthroposophical Foundation of Canada, The Samuel Rodgers Memorial Trust and sits on committees of the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto and other similar organizations. George and his wife have three grown children that attended the Toronto Waldorf School from Kg to grade 12. George will lead the customer service and sales aspects of our campaign.
Jon Koop
Holding a MA of Ed. in Waldorf Education and a BA of Ed., Jonathan Koop has been teaching for twenty-one years. In that time, he has taught children in the slums of Lima, Peru; amidst the redwoods of Mendocino, California; the skyscrapers of Seoul, Korea; the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia; and currently teaches at Trillium Waldorf School in Guelph, Ontario. He has worked as a class teacher at Trillium for thirteen years. In addition to having served on almost every committee in the school, he has also served as board representative, faculty chair and pedagogical chair. Currently he is preparing for teaching grade two. He has three young boys who attend the school and will facilitate communication to faculty
