Festival of Courage

With the turning of summer into autumn weather, the Festival of Courage helps us prepare ourselves for the inner strength and courage that we will need to face the dark, cold winter ahead. This grade school festival will be celebrated on Friday, September 26^th beginning with the performance of our traditional play, St. George and the Dragon, at 11:30am.

Please join us!

We are asking that anyone in attendance dress in solid red, the colour of courage, of autumn’s bountiful harvest, autumn leaves, the dragon’s fire, and the fire within each one of us, (no logos or graphics please).

Parent volunteers would be most welcome to help with the day’s activities. Please speak to your child’s class teacher if you can help with the activities, etc.

Please note: this is a Grade School festival only. The Kindergarten children will be celebrating the Festival of Courage with their own Harvest Festival on the evening of Wednesday, October 8^th. Details for this event will be shared with our Kindergarten and Parents & Child families by their teachers.
