2023-24 Full Time Contract Grades Teacher
We are hiring for next fall! Class Teachers are active members of the Faculty who are responsible for holding their class each year. Class teachers agree to teach the grade for which they are hired, as per the teaching schedule, according to the philosophy, purpose and curriculum of Waldorf education. Attendance at school events and festivals, as well as attending/assisting with occasional weekend events and meetings is required. Click here to learn more about the position.
After School Care Teacher
Trillium Waldorf School is currently accepting applications for an Afternoon Care Teacher (Part-Time) for a 4-month contract from March 2023 through June 15, 2023.
The Afterschool Care Program is provided for mixed ages of students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, from Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
The Care Teacher is responsible for the care, safety and well-being of the students, which involves establishing and maintaining a warm and consistent rhythm, including outdoor and indoor play, quiet activities, and snack.
The Afterschool Care teacher is also responsible for completing attendance and billing paperwork, communicating with parents and teachers, preparation and maintenance of classroom space, shopping for food, and often securing the building at the end of the day. Supply Teachers
Trillium Waldorf School is looking to expand its Supply Teacher list for early childhood education teachers, grades teachers, and all subject classes (German and French language, handwork, woodwork, games, movement). Ideally, you will have some teaching experience, preferably in a Waldorf classroom. Unless it is an emergency substitution situation, lesson plans will be prepared for you.
